Beacon Program Tuition Payment Information
Please Note:
- Courses with APPLIED status are not finalized/registered for college credits until Beacon tuition payment is made.
- Tuition is non-refundable. Tuition for Fall and Full-year Beacon courses must be received by October 10 (and by March 10 for Spring semester only courses).
Payment for Beacon Program college credits (presently $65 per college credit) can be made in the following ways:
- ONLINE (preferred): on beacon.sunysuffolk.edu by October 10 (with a credit card or debit card; there are
no additional fees for online Beacon Program payments): Students’ parent or guardian
will receive reminder emails (to the parent email address entered by the student on
beacon.sunysuffolk.edu, when they enroll), to make tuition payment to earn college
credits. The tuition payment must be received by Suffolk Community College by October
10 for students to be officially registered to earn the college credits. Registration
for Fall and Full year Beacon program college courses, is from 9/1 to 9/30. Spring
semester only (Beacon Program) courses have registration on beacon.sunysuffolk.edu,
from 2/1 thru 2/28 (payments must be received for those Spring courses by March 10).
Late registrations cannot be accepted.
- (OR) By mail, for check or money order payments, ONLY if unable to pay online, to: Suffolk Community College, 533 College road, NFL Building, Academic Affairs suite 127, Beacon office, Selden NY 11784
If you have questions about a student's current registration status/courses for college credit, students can log-in to beacon.sunysuffolk.edu (their username is the email address they entered to create their beacon portal account) and then click on the "My Classes and Grades" tab/tile, after logging in. Students must NOT enter their high school email address, to create their Beacon account, so that they can still access the Beacon portal, after they graduate high school.
All Beacon tuition payments for college credits must be received by October 10 (for Fall/Full year courses) and by March 10, for spring semester only courses.
