Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an international honor society that recognizes the academic achievement of two-year college students. PTK provides opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, community service and fellowship programming. This year the following students from Suffolk County Community College were recognized by PTK with awards.
Suffolk County Community College today announced its participation in a new statewide Community College Honors Transfer Pathway program launched by State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor John B. King Jr. during a recent visit to SUNY Geneseo.
Muhammad Fahad Butt, a student at Suffolk County Community College, has been named a 2026 Hites Scholar and will receive a $7,500 scholarship to support his baccalaureate studies.
The Flecker Gallery on the Ammerman Campus of Suffolk County Community College will present the 2026 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition from April 23 through May 18, 2026.
