Two at Suffolk Named 2022 Leaders of Promise Scholars, Awarded Scholarships


Suffolk County Community College's Amy Mata and Emily Lucana have been named 2022 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholars and will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. The pair are among 207 Phi Theta Kappa members selected nationwide from more than 1,300 applications. The Suffolk pair were selected based on scholastic achievement, community service, and leadership potential.

MicroMesters Offer Flexibility, Focus, Ability to Earn Credits Faster This Fall


Students registering at Suffolk County Community College this fall may choose to enroll in the College's new MicroMesters and earn credits faster, focus on fewer courses and stay on track to graduation.

Grant Campus, Brentwood during Long Island Mobility Week , a week during which Long Island villages, towns, cities, counties, and other organizations can showcase their commitment to clean and sustainable transportation options.
