American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) Information
Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
The Kennedy Center American College Theater (KCACTF) is a national theater program
                                 involving 18,000 students from colleges and universities nationwide. The KCACTF has
                                 served as a catalyst for improving the quality of college theater in the United States.
Kennedy Center American College Theater Regional Festivals
The KCACTF Regional Festivals is a gathering of people to see one another's work and
                                 to share ideas. In addition to performances, there are a wide range of activities
                                 that in the past have included workshops and seminars on such topics as playwriting,
                                 auditioning, voice, movement, stage combat, theater for children, scene painting,
                                 scenery construction. During January and February, a total of eight regional festivals
                                 are held throughout the country.
Kennedy Center American College Theater Region I Information
Region I of the KCACTF involves institutions from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode
                                 Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Eastern New York. Each year the KCACTF
                                 Region I Festival brings students and faculty together at the end of January to see
                                 some of the area's strongest productions, and to participate in workshops concerning
                                 a variety of areas in theatrical performance, design and production, and to celebrate
                                 theater in general.

                                 Play Service, Inc. was created to foster opportunity and provide support for playwrights
                                 by publishing acting editions of their plays and handling the nonprofessional and
                                 professional leasing rights to these works.
United States Institute for Theatre Technology
United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc. (USITT) connects the performing
                                 arts, design and technology communities to ensure a vibrant dialog among practitioners,
                                 educators, and students.
