  • Self-Study Steering Committee Co-chairs attend the MSCHE Self-Study Institute 
  • Appoint Steering Committee members 
  • Kick-off Meeting for Steering Committee
  • College-wide request for Working Group members
  • Launch Website

Spring 2025

  • Appoint Working Group members
  • Self-Study Kickoff Presentation at Professional Development Day
  • Steering Committee drafts lines of inquiry for each Standard
  • Presentations to SGA, Faculty Governance, and other college constituencies
  • Prepare Self-Study Design Draft
  • MSCHE VP Liaison conducts Self-Study Preparation visit
  • Launch Working Groups

Summer 2025

  • Self-Study Design approval from MSCHE VP Liaison
  • Documentation for Working Groups begins to be assembled in Evidence Inventory

Fall 2025

  • Working Groups begin work on data collection and analysis
  • Continue to communicate self-study progress to College community
  • Working Groups submit annotated outline to Steering Committee

Spring 2026

  • Selection of MSCHE Evaluation Team Chair
  • Working Group Reports Due
  • Self-Study Report Draft is compiled

Summer 2026 

  • Writing Group refine Self-Study draft

Fall 2026

  • Self-Study Report Draft is shared college-wide for feedback
  • Steering Committee continues to review and refine the Self-Study report
  • Host the Evaluation Team Chair for a preliminary visit
  • Evaluation Team members are appointed
  • Logistics Group prepare for hosting the evaluation team members

Spring 2027

  • Final Self-Study Report Sent to Evaluation Team
  • Evaluation Team Visit
  • College submits response to Team Report
  • MSCHE Commission meets to review Self-Study documents and determine action on reaffirmation of accreditation
