COL120: Portfolio Preparation, is a one credit course for adults who seek academic credit for college-level learning accomplished in non-traditional ways such as:
- Paid work experience
- Volunteer work
- Home management
- Non-credited training
- Travel
- Independent study
Students will be provided with the necessary information and techniques for choosing a degree program and preparing a portfolio that describes and verifies their learning. The portfolio may be presented to the faculty for evaluation.
Evaluation of the portfolio for academic credit is not part of the course and is subject to a separate assessment fee at the time the portfolio is submitted.
